Couplet

These are really short poems with only two lines in each stanza. I guess you really couldn't say much huh?

Sick

I'm sick you see.

But don't pity me.

Your donations are all I need.

So if you feel bad

Quell it with the money you have

in your pockets and purses.

I loose my hair and energy too.

but there is only one thing you can do.

I need your money don't you see,

because i can't get enough from mom and dear daddy.

(These are not serious poems! I don't actually take donating to a sick child this lightly.)

OH My Gosh!!

OK I know this is a poetry blog but have you ever seen the old spice commercials, you know the ones witht the buff man on a beach in his towel then in white pants? well I think I enjoy this version of the commercial more. Watch it and be amazed!

Puppies!!!

OK so I know the only other thing I have on here besides poems are my dogs. Well its not secret I love my dogs, and apparently other people love their dogs so much they have entire blogs dedicated to them. A cute one i found was http://www.thefunnydogs.com/ . You should really check it out. Its pretty adorable.

Burlesque Poetry

This could be interesting. A burlesque poem is one the makes light of a serious subject or treats something serious as humorous. Its like a parody to a song or video. It is also like a satire, which is a sarcastic essay written on a serious matter to prove a point. You can look up a parody on YouTube.com to a lot of songs you enjoy and find that the parodies are just as amusing.

Who says old dogs can't learn new tricks?

So my oldest dog Katy is learning a new trick. She is finally learning to roll over! Well she has part of it down. She rolls on her side but I have to push her all the way over. Now Jake on the other hand grumbles and moans every time we've( my family and I) tried to teach him to roll over so I;m thinking that is not going to happen for him. But Katy has potential. So I'll keep you updated on her progress. She's so smart its scary sometimes.

Angel

Across the night sky comes a wonderful sight.
Not a flock of birds,
Going south for the winter
Evening warms and the plane lands.
Letting my sister come back home to us.
